Chung Cheng Scissors Co., Ltd. (“Chung Cheng”, “we”, “us”) manufactures garden pruning tools in Changhua, Taiwan. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect
We only collect data you give us directly. We do not buy contact lists and we do not build profiles of visitors.
- Inquiry form: your name, company name, business email, telephone, country, role, purchase volume, target market, and the list of models you added to your inquiry, plus any message you write.
- Server logs: IP address, browser type, and pages requested, retained by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
We do not ask for and do not want special-category data such as health, political, or biometric information. Please do not include it in your message.
Why we use it
- To answer your quotation or sample request and to prepare an offer.
- To maintain a record of business correspondence.
- To meet accounting, customs, and export record-keeping obligations where an order follows.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business inquiry you initiated, and, once an order is placed, the performance of a contract. We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.
Who sees it
Your inquiry is sent to our sales team by email. Data is processed by our web hosting provider and our email provider acting on our instructions. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We may disclose data if required by Taiwanese law or a valid legal order.
International transfers
Chung Cheng is based in Taiwan. If you contact us from the EU, EEA, or UK, your data will be transferred to and stored in Taiwan. Taiwan is not currently covered by a European Commission adequacy decision, so we rely on your explicit initiation of contact and on appropriate contractual safeguards with our providers.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted within 24 months. Records connected to an actual order are kept for the period required by Taiwanese commercial and tax law. Server logs are kept for 12 months.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed to make it work: a session cookie that remembers the models in your inquiry list, and a language preference cookie. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If we add analytics in future, this page will be updated first.
Your rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. You may also ask us to send it to another provider in a portable format. Write to imb2b9999@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK and you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to inquiry records is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send confidential technical drawings or commercial terms through the public form — ask us for a secure channel instead.
